New opportunities for affordable housing developers and others will be the focus of AHF Live: Housing Developers Forum. The fifth annual event will be April 1-3 at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas.

The conference will offer a close-up look at Opportunity Zones (OZs), the hottest topic in the community and economic development field. To help developers stay on top of the new, evolving program, expert panels will share the latest information needed about utilizing OZs.

In addition, the AHF Live Forum will dig into the new income-averaging option in the low-income housing tax credit program and explore the latest financing trends. Several AHF 50 developers also will be on hand to share their best practices and the opportunities they are pursuing in the affordable housing market as well as other sectors.

“This year’s AHF Live Forum will dig deeper into the hot topics that engaged the 1,200-plus attendees from our recent AHF Live Summit in Chicago,” says Rob Britt, vice president, multifamily group, at Hanley Wood. “If you own, develop, or manage multifamily housing you will want to be in Las Vegas this April to discuss current best practices for delivering housing supply to those who need it most. Getting deals done and accessing capital remains more challenging than ever before but the best opportunities to provide housing in multifamily continues to be in the affordable segment. Our goal will be to provide practical applications for growing your business in 2019.”

To ensure the highest-quality learning and networking event, attendance is reserved exclusively for people who are primarily owners and developers of affordable housing, plus state and local housing finance agency representatives and nonprofit organizations focused on the business of affordable housing.

The $399 insider rate is available through Jan. 25. For more information or to register, visit www.ahfliveforum.com.
