Nebraska Provides $5.4 Million to Projects

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded more than $5.4 million in grants as part of the 2009 Nebraska Affordable Housing Program.

Grants are made to fund housing projects statewide through a combination of programs, including the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership, and Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

The awards will help fund the construction of new affordable homes as well as assist home buyers. .
