The House of Representatives passed H.R. 4213, also known as the Tax Extenders Act of 2009.

Introduced by Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.), the bill would also extend the New Markets Tax Credit for a year. The bill has been sent to the Senate for consideration.
