2020 Young Leaders: The Right Stuff

AHF recognizes four industry rising stars.

1 MIN READ

The future looks bright for the affordable housing industry as a new generation steps into leading roles.

Affordable Housing Finance recognizes four Young Leaders this year for their work in providing affordable homes and new opportunities to low-income residents as well as boosting the overall industry. Despite their age—all younger than 40—they’re already making a big impact.

This year’s Young Leaders are Seth Barnett, senior national director at Affordable Housing Advisors, Jared Cummer, director of asset management and housing finance at the Seattle Housing Authority, Dwayne George, executive vice president and head of production and underwriting at Merchants Capital, and Julianna Stuart, vice president of community impact at POAH Communities.

  • AHF’s Young Leader award was created as a way to celebrate and support the development of a fresh, new group of difference makers. The 2020 honorees will be recognized during the AHF Live virtual conference at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.
