The four finalists in the rural category this year are bringing affordable housing to small communities, several impacted by recent natural disasters, in Arizona, California, and North Carolina. They include Hawkins Pointe in Hendersonville, North Carolina; Hill Street School Apartments in Globe, Arizona; Lofts at Osage Mill in Bessemer City, North Carolina; and Paradise Gardens III in Paradise, California.
