North Dakota Approves 2010 QAP

1 MIN READ

The North Dakota Industrial Commission has approved the 2010 low-income housing tax credit qualified allocation plan for the state.

Administered by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA), the program will have more than $2.4 million in tax credit authority this year.

New to the program is a 10 percent set-aside for applications from areas of the state experiencing housing shortages due to energy-related exploration and extraction.

In addition to the energy impact set-aside, NDHFA has set-asides for nonprofit organizations, Indian reservations, and preservation projects.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 26. If needed, a second round may be held. For more information, visit www.ndhfa.org.
