Brisa Development Partners is the new name of a California-based affordable housing developer and consultant.
The name marks a new chapter for the company formerly known as Community Development Resource Group, which has been partnering with California’s public agencies, mission-driven developers, and housing advocates since 2015.
“Brisa represents an evolution of what we’ve built: a high-performing team focused on delivering results in complex environments,” said Kevin Rodin, founder and president. “California’s challenges when it comes to health and housing require creativity, technical fluency, and speed. Our team has a proven ability to deliver on all three.”
Specializing in unlocking public funding and delivering projects of varying scale that meet urgent housing and health care needs, the firm has secured nearly $3 billion in public funding and supported 150 projects across more than 20 counties.
Brisa provides end-to-end project support—from feasibility and funding strategy to application management and development execution.
In another move, the firm is expanding its own development pipeline and is about to open Hub City Heights, a $17 million adaptive-reuse project that transforms a motel into a 40-unit permanent supportive housing development in Compton, California. The project will feature wraparound services space and case manager offices.
